Located in Manly’s historic Barracks Precinct, Milestone Events boasts an enviable patch of real estate. Just 5 minutes from the world-famous Manly Beach, up on a secluded area of Sydney’s headland, this stunning events space awaits. A unique 1930s traditional brick building with art deco architecture, Milestone Events has an incredible cocktail of features that make it a highly desirable event and wedding venue.

Upon arriving at Milestone Events, you’re instantly struck by the astounding views. The Milestone Events clifftop ceremony location is just a 7-minute walk from the main building. If you’re hosting an outdoor event, such as a high-tea or wedding ceremony, your guests will likely spend much of their time gazing out over the water!

Heading into the main events space you’ll discover why Milestone Events is considered the hidden gem of Sydney. The venue features high ceilings, original wooden floors, and an eye-catching art deco bar in a gorgeous light-filled space.

There’s also a heritage ballroom for more formal events and a cosy lounge area that can be used as a breakout space or a spot for guests to rest their dancing feet.

The innovative culinary team is led by head chef Marion Jane, who also runs Milestone Events along with her husband and daughter. Their combined knowledge of the catering and events industries is evident in their expansive menus and curated event packages. They offer a personal experience that is rare in other large event spaces in Sydney.

Ballroom

A flexible space bathed in natural light, the historic ballroom is the heart of Milestone Events. Featuring timber floors, white walls and ceilings, and pops of green plant life, the ballroom is a gorgeous clean slate for you to make your own.

Garden

The gorgeous private garden is a beautiful space for a wedding ceremony, high tea, or breakout space for corporate activities. Native trees and plants form an intimate sanctuary, and lawn games can be set up here.

Lawn

A brisk 7-minute walk from the main building brings you to the lawn, where you’ll have uninterrupted views out over Sydney Harbour. Perfect for breathtaking ceremonies, cinematic photographs, and break time excursions.

My husband and I had our wedding at Milestone on what was probably the hottest day this year at 42 degrees! Miles, Tessa and the team were so accommodating and allowed our guests to go straight from the outside ceremony and into the air-conditioned reception area where they were kept hydrated.
