Your ceremony at Elmswood Estate
Ceremonies at Elmswood Estate Yarra Valley typically take place on the expansive High Deck, which boasts breathtaking 180-degree views of the vineyard and valley beyond. Guests will be left in awe by the setting as they look out across seemingly endless rows of grapevines.
A popular choice for intimate wedding ceremonies is the enchanting Rose Garden, situated just outside the Cellar Door at Elmswood Estate. The Marquee is a great all-weather venue option for a ceremony at Elmswood Estate and also has space for a dancefloor, making it the ideal space to continue the wedding celebrations into the night.
Ceremony setup at Elmswood Estate includes seating for 30 guests, wine barrel decor features and a red carpet on request. You’ll also have exclusive access to the estate’s private bridal suite so you can relax and enjoy a glass of bubbly before the ceremony.
Your reception at Elmswood Estate
Sitting on a hill overlooking Elmswood Estate’s picturesque 25-acre vineyard, the beautiful all-glass Pavilion is a popular choice for wedding receptions. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with natural light and offer the perfect outlook over the vineyard below.
The Pavilion has recently been refurbished, with the addition of long timber tables and classic oak cross-back chairs adding to the elegant feel of the space. Admire the picturesque views of rolling green hills and Yarra Valley mountain ranges as you and your guests sit down to a long table dinner in this gorgeous space.
The beautiful Marquee is a great all-weather option for a wedding reception at Elmswood Estate. Clear walls can be rolled down in cooler weather and there’s also plenty of room for a dancefloor, so you can dance the night away with friends and family as you continue your wedding celebrations.
Elmswood Estate often works with the acclaimed Yarra Valley Catering to offer three distinct menu styles for its weddings and events. Choose from a cocktail-style canapé menu, a celebration menu with shared grazing platters, or a signature fine-dining menu. Another popular choice is the eight-course Chinese-style banquet package from Silks Catering.
You also have the freedom to bring in your own caterer, working closely with Elmswood Estate’s in-house wedding coordinator to bring your menu visions to life. No matter which option you choose, you can rest assured that the estate’s award-winning wines will pair perfectly with your menu. Both the standard and premium beverage packages showcase an incredible selection of Elmswood Estate’s cool-climate wines.
