1. If your venue had a personality, how would you describe it in three words?

Versatile, innovative and welcoming!

2. What’s one feature or space in your venue that always wows corporate clients? 

Our clients are always super wowed by our West Wing Foyer. It’s a flexible, multi-functional space designed with our clients in mind, allowing us to tailor it precisely to their needs. It can be split off into a separate lobby and breakout space, with branding opportunities and its very own exclusive entrance. And, of course, the grand central staircase leading up to our Kensington and Richmond Suites is always a showstopper!

4. What’s your “hidden gem” feature that people might overlook?

Our hidden gem has to be our Room 23! This stunning meeting space boasts the best view of London, situated on our 23rd floor, with a capacity to accommodate up to 150 people. Whether it be for the ultimate drinks reception or show-stopping dinner, you name it! Did you know that you can even see Hyde Park, The Shard, Westminster, the London Eye, The Royal Albert Hall… we could go on and on.

5. How does your team make every event extra special?

It’s the warmth, dedication, and personal touch of our team that make all the difference! From carefully accommodating dietary needs, creating a welcoming atmosphere, or even remembering a client’s coffee order when they return, our team takes pride in all of the little details that make our clients feel at home. 

6. How does your team ensure every corporate event runs smoothly?

It all starts with building strong client relationships. From the very first enquiry, our team is there every step of the way. From our chef crafting tailored menus, our sales and planning team coordinating every detail, our front-of-house staff welcoming our clients with a smile, and our operations team transforming our event spaces. Our flexibility and versatility enable us to cater to a wide range of events across various industries. We primarily host corporate clients from sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, IT, and Software, and we’re fully equipped with the necessary licensing and permits for confidential events. The diversity of organisations we connect with demonstrates that there’s no limit to the types of events we can host, which is a big reason we’re proud to be named England’s Best MICE Hotel 2025!

8. What corporate event trends are you noticing, and how is your venue adapting to them?

We’re definitely seeing wellness become a bigger focus at corporate events. From quiet rooms where delegates can recharge, to healthier menu options, it’s all about creating spaces that support both productivity and wellbeing. Our chefs even create tailored event menus so we’re able to accommodate all kinds of tastes and preferences.

Sustainability is another huge priority, and it’s something we’re truly passionate about. At Hilton London Metropole, sustainability is woven into everything we do — from carefully selecting the suppliers we partner with, to sending zero waste to landfill, to sourcing 90% of ingredients from within 100 miles of the hotel at our restaurant, Tyburn Kitchen. We also run on 100% renewable electricity and actively support our local community. For us, sustainability isn’t just a trend; it’s about making mindful choices that ensure a brighter future for people and the planet, all entwined with the impact that the hospitality industry makes.
