Smaller Spaces
These include Purdey, Steed, Peel, Solo and Kurakin – the hotel’s five individual private event/dining rooms on the first floor. Book Purdey or Steed individually for boardroom meetings of 20 guests or seated dinners of 50. Peel was named after Emma Peel from The Avengers and exudes a zen vibe thanks to a wall of blonde wood and silver birch trees. The bespoke pivoting chandelier here lends further charm and appeal to the room. With natural light pouring in through the windows, Peel is ideal for working lunches or can be a fantastic venue for a soft candle-lit dinner for 20. Kuryakin gets its name from the Russian agent Ilya Kuryakin in spy film, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and is a bold space with oodles of character. Scarlet walls dominate the decor while a ruby lacquer table and an Arthurian chandelier lend drama to the setting. The area is ideal for brunches or an intimate dinner. Solo is the hotel’s most intimate dining and events room. The combination of herringbone wood flooring and wood panelling creates the feeling of a luxurious club here. 20 guests can be seated for dinner or 25 for drinks and games. From here double doors lead into the hotel’s speakeasy, Le Chiffre. When combined, the space can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests.
