1. If your venue had a personality, how would you describe it in three words?
Timeless. Iconic. Chic.
2. What’s one feature or space in your venue that always wows corporate clients?
The original 1930s switchboards. It’s the first thing people gravitate toward when they walk in. There’s nothing else like it, and it instantly elevates the experience.
3. What’s your dream corporate event to host, and why?
An innovative brand launch with immersive lighting and technology and all-out branding. Something that bridges heritage and future: that’s when Control Room A comes alive.
4. What sets your venue apart from others in the corporate world?
Atmosphere and history. You’re not just in a venue — you’re standing in the original control centre of Battersea Power Station, surrounded by Art deco details like marble floors and gold coffered ceilings. It feels meaningful.
5. What’s your “hidden gem” feature that people might overlook?
The original control dials along the walls. People often focus on the uniqueness of the space as a whole, but the smaller, preserved industrial details quietly tell the venue’s story and always spark conversation.
6. How does your team make every event extra special?
We treat every event like it’s the first one in the room: fresh eyes, bespoke thinking, and a deep understanding of how to use the space creatively. No cookie-cutter setups, ever.
7. How does your team ensure every corporate event runs smoothly?
Clear timelines, good communication, and being onsite with you from start to finish. It’s a small team that really knows the space… and knows how to adapt.
8. What type of corporate events does your venue attract most?
High-end brand launches, networking receptions, elegant dinners, awards evenings, and impactful conferences. Any event that wants a wow factor with a rich history to accompany it.
9. What corporate event trends are you noticing, and how is your venue adapting to them?
Clients are craving something atmospheric and more immersive: lighting, music, storytelling. We’ve also had more enquiries for dual- purpose spaces (talk + drinks, panel + performance), and the flexibility of Control Room A really supports that.
10. Finally, what’s your go-to song for hyping up before a big event?
