If you’re envisioning a romantic garden ceremony followed by a relaxed reception in a grand marquee surrounded by lush greenery, Burnham Grove Estate is the perfect venue for you. Choose from four magical ceremony locations on the property, including an intimate secret garden walled by towering viburnum hedges. There’s also a rustic 1860s heritage barn, an oval-shaped palm garden, and a dual-tier garden overlooking the beautiful acreage.

Burnham Grove Estate’s purpose-built garden marquee offers a beautiful setting for intimate wedding receptions. The marquee’s transparent walls can be rolled up to create an open and airy feel, allowing your guests to spill out onto the manicured croquet lawn to make the most of the estate’s picturesque surroundings.

There’s also a charming three-bedroom homestead on the property, which means you won’t have to worry about finding offsite accommodation for the bridal party. The homestead is a late nineteenth-century single-storey home with three large bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom, dedicated beauty lounges, a well-appointed kitchen and living area, and a wraparound verandah. 

Burnham Grove Estate Wedding Ceremonies

There are four beautiful ceremony locations to choose from at Burnham Grove Estate, including The Views, The Secret Garden, The Barn, and The Palm Garden. The Secret Garden is a popular choice, surrounded by a towering viburnum hedge that gives the garden an intimate and whimsical feel. The Views is another wonderful garden ceremony option, overlooking the acreage and picturesque rolling hills surrounding Burnham Grove.

For a more rustic feel, you might like to have your ceremony in front of the heritage 1860s barn at Burnham Grove Estate. Another option is the oval-shaped Palm Garden, surrounded by swaying palm trees and flowering hedges. Ceremonies at The Palm Garden include a separate signing space in the homestead courtyard.

If you’re worried about unpredictable weather during the ceremony, your wedding coordinator can organise for an all-weather marquee to be put up on the croquet lawn to keep your guests cool and dry on the day. Ceremonies at Burnham Grove Estate also include 20 white folding chairs for your guests and a signing table with two chairs.

Following the ceremony, your guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapés on the croquet lawn as you slip away for photos. I love that Burnham Grove Estate offers a ceremony location, accommodation and reception all in the one place! This was very convenient for us and our guests. The place is amazing and I couldn't fault the place.

Highly recommend this gorgeous wedding venue. All ceremony options are beautiful. When I walked down the aisle into the secret garden it honestly took my breath away, even with all the nerves! The reception looked stunning and was one big party which is exactly what we wanted. The team were fantastic.

Yes. You are able to hire the venue only and have an external caterer of your choice, subject to approval from the venue. Please note that any external caterers must be fully insured and licensed, and there will be an additional kitchen fee of $1000.

Yes. You will need to have the alcohol served by RSA certified staff only, which could be your caterers or hired staff. You will also need to deliver all beverages on the day of your event and have them stocked into the fridges prior to the caterer’s arrival to ensure they are cooled in time for your event or wedding.
