What’s your dream corporate event to host, and why? 

A global luxury brand summit that brings together innovation, culture, wellness and exceptional hospitality under one roof would be a dream event for us to host. With our iconic Knightsbridge location overlooking Hyde Park, the hotel naturally lends itself to immersive, high-impact events. We love creating occasions that feel both inspiring and deeply personal, where guests leave feeling they’ve experienced something truly memorable rather than simply attended another corporate gathering.

What sets your venue apart from others in the corporate world?

What truly sets us apart is the combination of heritage, exclusivity and contemporary luxury. Our location in the heart of London, overlooking Hyde Park, it gives guests an immediate sense of occasion. At the same time, the hotel offers an intimate and highly personalised approach to service that allows every event to feel bespoke. 

I often tell clients that our Banqueting team is one of the very best in London. They bring incredible attention to detail, professionalism and genuine passion to every event they deliver. Their commitment consistently results in glowing feedback from clients, who regularly praise the seamless execution and exceptional level of service they receive throughout their experience with us.

What’s your “gem” feature that people might overlook?

One of our hidden gems is the Butterfly Terrace at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, situated between the terrace, Loggia and Ballroom. The space features over 50 breeds of butterflies beautifully hand-painted by Leah Wood, daughter of Ronnie Wood.

It offers organisers and attendees a quiet space to step away, recharge and take in the stunning views overlooking Hyde Park.

How does your team make every event extra special?

Our team takes a highly personalised approach to every event, no matter the size or style. We spend time understanding the client’s objectives and audience so we can tailor every detail accordingly.

Sustainability also remains an important consideration for many clients and Mandarin Oriental really leads the way in this area, we are continually looking at ways to deliver more conscious event experiences while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
