Renee Falckh’s appointment as Venue Crews’ new Head of Corporate marks an exciting chapter for both Renee and the growing Corporate team.
The appointment will see Renee take responsibility for guiding the team’s direction and strengthening Venue Crew’s position within the corporate events industry.
“I’ll be leading and managing the Corporate team, driving strategy, performance and growth while ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service and venue solutions for our clients,” Renee said.
Renee joined Venue Crew seven months ago as a Venue Specialist, quickly making an impact through her industry knowledge, commercial experience and understanding of what clients need from a venue partner.
Before joining Venue Crew, Renee built her career with leading hotel brands, working across a range of roles within the events and corporate sectors.
“I bring a lifetime of experience in the events and corporate industry, having worked with leading hotel brands across both operations and sales.”
Having worked behind the scenes on event delivery, as well as directly with clients, Renee has seen the entire planning process from both sides. It is an outlook that has shaped the way she approaches briefs, relationships and venue recommendations.
“That experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of every stage of the event journey. I understand the operational complexities involved in delivering a successful event, as well as what the client needs from the initial brief through to execution.”
After years of working within individual hotel brands, Renee was ready to broaden her perspective and work across a wider range of event spaces and client requirements.
“I was looking for an opportunity to broaden my experience by working with a diverse portfolio of venues and clients, and Venue Crew was the perfect fit.”
Now stepping into a leadership position, Renee will be able to bring that broader industry perspective to the development of the Corporate team. A key priority will be creating an environment where team members can grow their expertise while continuing to provide thoughtful, personalised support to clients and venue partners.
