The largest events space on the property, the Water Room boasts tall ceilings and wrap-around windows that offer unobstructed views of the Sydney Harbour and its eponymous bridge. It also features direct access to the hotel pier.
Bridge Room & Marquee
A clear perspex marquee with exceptional views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this highly customisable space adjoins a cosy indoor function room (The Bridge Room), and is perfect for a special occasion. The Bridge Room Marquee event space also offers direct street access.
Dawes Point Room
A harbourfront space that can be partitioned into seven separate rooms, plus a boardroom, the Dawes Point room is extremely versatile, and also offers direct access to the pier. By removing the operable wall, these rooms can also extend further to adjoin the spacious Water Room. Capacities are based on rooms used separately.
The Gantry Restaurant
Proud recipients of one Chef Hat from the Good Food Guide, The Gantry is a waterfront restaurant that can easily be utilised for social and corporate gatherings. Sip delicious cocktails while watching sunset over the harbour and enjoying great company.
Pier One Sydney Catering
Capitalising on fresh, seasonal, local produce is at the heart of Pier One Sydney’s catering operations, so much so that the menu at hatted onsite restaurant The Gantry changes twice a month, and the restaurant works directly with farmers to ensure the highest quality.
While The Gantry specialises in Modern Australian cuisine – think mushroom ravioli with parmesan cream, garden peas and lemon gel; and beef tenderloin with truffle mashed potato, mushroom duxelles, crispy kale and herb butter – the hotel’s team is willing and able to accommodate other needs. The chefs at Pier One Sydney can also cater to all kinds of dietary requirements, from vegetarians and vegans to those who are gluten-free.

Great and easy to work with, they gave us a comprehensive planning form and recommended suppliers and it made the whole thing super easy. The food was great and the view is just phenomenal. We even got free decorations as the next wedding's ceiling decorations were bumped in already!

They were amazing, they just kept sending up wine and their service was so great! They even wrote out hand-written congratulation notes and would always ask if there was anything else they could do! They even put our hairdresser next to us even thought they were booked at different times which was so kind and helpful too!

Fabulous venue. The Bridge Marque is magical at night with the fairy lights - even though it was raining. The venue was so easy to deal with. The only challenge was out wedding planner not being available to us as planned in the few hours before the wedding, so a couple of things got missed and were done stressfully last minute. The food was inconsistent in quality. Aside from that, it was great.
