This impressive venue is a warm and inviting space, making it a popular destination for social events, corporate functions, and weddings. In close proximity to public transport, and parking available on the surrounding streets, it’s an accessible location for guests from all over Melbourne.

A historic pub, The Post Office underwent a renovation in 2010 that restored many of the building’s glamorous art deco features. Combined with the exposed brick and soaring ceilings, The Post Office feels imposing without being intimidating. Inhouse catering is provided, with menu options accommodating cultural menus and dietary requirements.

The Dining Hall is The Post Office’s main event space. A light-filled room, The Dining Hall featured exposed brick and beams, vintage pendant lights, terrazzo flooring, and cathedral ceilings. The Dining Room is a show-stopping event space as is. However, you can bring in decor to personalise the aesthetic to your liking. Living floral arrangements and fairy lights enhance the romance of the room.

Entertainment comes in many forms, and The Post Office’s fully-equipped DJ booth is one option for your event. Alternatively, there is an area for a live band, and a spacious dancefloor should you want your guests to get up for a boogie.

Cannot speak highly enough of each and every staff member at Post Office Hotel in Coburg. Milly is amazing as an event organizer. Nothing was too much trouble. They really worked around our needs. All the guests rave about the service and venue. All waiters took the time to know each and every guest's name. Would highly recommend having a wedding at this venue.
