The function space can accommodate up to 450 guests cocktail style, with the venue able to be configured to accommodate different floor plans, including theatre and classroom style. There are a range of event catering packages to choose from, and a unique ‘Chef’s Challenge’ cooking experience for team building exercises and ice-breaker events.
The food is exceptional at Zest Boathouse, with the venue’s catering team having been awarded ‘Caterer of the Year’ by the Restaurant and Catering Association two years in a row.  The event catering menu is diverse and eclectic, with every item made with fresh, locally-sourced produce. Mains range from wild barramundi fillet with kaffir lime to grain fed Riverina lamb rack with crisp polenta cake, while their dessert and beverage range is just as extensive.  With executive chef Christopher Dobbie at the helm, and impressive menus with interactive and memorable spins, you can expect beautifully-presented, delectable fare at any Boathouse at the Spit event.
In the immediate area is Spit West Reserve, a tranquil park with manicured lawns and gardens, picnic tables, and a playground.  Nearby tourist attractions include Pearl Bay Reserve, Chinamans Beach, and Bradleys Head Lookout. The suburb of Mosman is also a popular destination in itself, filled with charming cafes and restaurants. Further afield, but still situated in Mosman, is Sydney’s Taronga Zoo. This world-class zoo has a focus on conservation, and is filled with an abundance of species, including lions, meerkats and gorillas.
