Venue Crew recently hit the road, hosting two exclusive Famils in Melbourne and Brisbane to give corporate event professionals a behind-the-scenes look at some of Australia’s standout event venues.
Designed to showcase what’s possible for corporate events, each Famil combined immersive venue tours, exceptional hospitality and valuable networking opportunities. More importantly, they demonstrated how Venue Crew helps businesses source the right venues, simplify the planning process and build long-term event strategies.
Melbourne Famil
On 18 June, Venue Crew hosted its very first Melbourne Famil, welcoming 14 corporate event professionals for a day of premium hospitality and venue inspiration.
Guests experienced three unique event spaces at QT Melbourne, enjoying a progressive three-course dining experience before finishing with Espresso Martinis on the rooftop. The group also visited Elara’s stunning new rooftop venue, complete with bubbles and beautiful cheese platters.
Representatives from organisations including Visual Media Association, Snowflake, Deloitte, Aquatics & Recreation Victoria, Geelong Grammar and Sharp & Carter attended the event, with conversations centred around future event planning and venue sourcing.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees particularly excited by Venue Crew’s Events Calendar concept. The event has already resulted in new venue search requests and follow-up meetings for future corporate events.

Momentum continued in Brisbane, where Venue Crew welcomed another fantastic group of corporate event professionals representing organisations with major national event programs, including Bupa, Sharp & Carter and Daraja Impact Hub.
Guests explored a selection of premium event venues while enjoying exceptional hospitality from InterContinental, Hyatt Regency and Sofitel. Highlights included beautifully styled event spaces, a seated lunch overlooking Queen Street Mall and interactive cocktail experiences that provided a memorable finish to the day.
The Famil created meaningful connections, sparked valuable conversations and laid the groundwork for future corporate events across Australia.
