Named after architect John Nash, who designed the venue in the 1820s, The Nash is one of the city’s most luxurious choices for large celebrations. Steeped in grandeur, the 3,000 sq ft space welcomingly accommodates up to 250 dining guests and is a glamorous backdrop for prestigious corporate or social events.

The Waterloo is a beautiful double-aspect room overlooking Pall Mall and Waterloo Place. It can be used as a standalone event space or adjoin The Nash to host a drinks reception.

Once the smoking room of the United Service Club, the Carlton Room is now a lavish backdrop for exclusive dinners, drink receptions and breakfast meetings. The glamorous space is elegantly decorated with dramatic Ionic columns and opens out onto the beautiful terrace and Waterloo East Garden. Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s an ideal setting for alfresco entertaining.

Whether you’re hosting a board meeting or conducting an interview, there are a number of meeting rooms within the venue’s dedicated Business Centre. For large gatherings, the Academy is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art training facility with two flexible training suites, coaching rooms, AV equipment, a separate reception with private access, along with a barista bar. The Shaftesbury is the main room and can comfortably host up to 24 guests for board meetings and 40 seated theatre-style. For small gatherings of 2-10 people, Room 404 offers plenty of light and overlooks the gardens. Room 412 is the smallest offering and is ideal for one-on-one training or private discussions.

The Grand Staircase & Balcony is a reflection of the building’s grandeur and has become a highly popular setting for wedding ceremonies. The sweeping staircase lies beneath a magnificent 15-foot Regency chandelier that was gifted from George IV to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo.

For seated gatherings, a variety of dining options are available. Choose from the regal rooms of St James 1 & 2 for intimate events, or Trafalgar 1 & 2 for their original features and charm. If you’re looking for majestic features, then The Burton offers an enticing space with classic Georgian features. Alternatively, The Carlton, which was once the smoking-room of the United Service Club, adds an elegant twist for exclusive dinners. The Director's Room has palatial high ceilings and long Chesterfield-style banquettes which ooze charm and sophistication for dinner dances, drink receptions and large celebrations. To wine and dine guests, The Wine Bar’s vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork offer plenty of character and was once the wine cellar of the Prince of Wales and the United Services Club. Originally washrooms used by officers of the United Services Club, Cafe Duke is a quirky and unique space that has become a popular filming location. Overlooking Waterloo Place, The Restaurant welcomes groups of up to 80 in an elegant dining arrangement.
