Garden Museum Weddings

Situated on the banks of the River Thames, the Garden Museum is dedicated to the art, history, and design of gardens, making a spectacular setting for an iconic London wedding.

The Scene at Garden Museum London

With views across the River Thames to the Houses of Parliament, the Garden Museum is in one of London’s most iconic and awe-inspiring locations but step into the Dan Pearson-designed garden and it feels as though you’re in a private oasis in the city.

Dedicated to garden design, this museum is a creative and artistic venue to host your wedding and has stunning features throughout – from the plants and greenery through to the restored medieval church with vaulted ceilings and stained-glass windows, and the contemporary glass-walled extension.

Garden Museum London weddings can be held in the Nave, the grand indoor space, or the Sackler Garden, or both, to make use of each unique space. Enjoy drinks alfresco before heading indoors to sit down to dinner from a caterer of your choice and dancing the night away on your own medieval dance floor in the heart of the city. Garden Museum London venue hire comes with a late licence.

Garden Museum London Wedding Receptions

There are two options for hosting your wedding reception at Garden Museum: the Sackler Garden and the Nave.

The Sackler Garden provides a stunning, intimate outdoor space amongst the leafy garden and comes with use of the contemporary glass cloister.

The Nave is the medieval former church with soaring vaulted ceilings and original features. It’s perfect for holding a large wedding breakfast followed by dancing, and comes with use of the Sackler Garden.

We love the idea of hosting pre-dinner drinks in the garden before moving indoors for the main event.

Venue Testimonials

Garden Museum is amazing venue when it comes to wedding in London. From outside you got beautiful view on the Westminster and Big Ben. Inside you got access to massive hall which on the evening turn to be dance floor. Fabulous place for wedding in London.

Miracle M

The museum has been beautifully integrated into the redundant church building, and its spacious layout allows a certain spirituality to remain. [...] All the staff I spoke to were helpful, above and beyond the usual.

Martin M

Lovely rooms for events and conferences, there is even a kitchen and a modern concept cafe. Beautiful courtyard where the rain garden has been designed by Dan Pearson.
