Spaces At This Venue
At the entrance of the Victoria and Albert Museum London, the Dome is a large venue with marble columns, black and white floor and decorative domed ceiling that soars high above the space. A Dale Chihuly designed glass centrepiece adds drama and style to the already theatrical space. With a large capacity, the Dome can hold receptions, dinners, and dinner dances.
John Madejski Garden
Hidden from the rest of London, the John Madejski Garden is a large, elegant, and immaculate outdoor venue for hosting your event, right in the middle of the Victoria and Albert Museum. A beautiful central water feature and landscaped garden provide a beautiful space for a large reception or pre-dinner drinks. Marquees are not permitted, however, use of the Dome is included in the venue hire as an alternative, in case of rain.
The Raphael Gallery is the largest event venue in the V&A and is perfect for a large party, gala dinner, or awards night. Renaissance art and a Spanish gilded altarpiece make this room a truly spectacular place to host your event.
Victoria and Albert Museum London boasts numerous galleries that can be used for your event, creating a unique backdrop to your party or celebration. With small-mid size capacities, they’re perfect for dinners or small receptions. Consider the Edwin & Susan Davies Paintings Galleries to have an event surrounded by works from Turner and Constable; the Whiteley Silver Galleries which houses the nation’s largest collection of silver; or the Fashion Galleries, where you’ll be surrounded by four centuries of European style.
Morris and Gamble Rooms
The Morris Room, designed by William Morris in the 1860s, is a small yet stunning room with stained-glass windows and painted Elizabethan-style panels, that would be perfect for a breakfast or dinner event. The adjacent Gamble Room, with slightly larger capacity, boasts opulence made up of decorative ceramic tiles, large columns, and stained-glass windows.

Grand venue for a grand wedding. The high ceiling and the echo in the main hall made it a magical experience for me and for the 500+ guests that were in attendance.
